*BIG OL' EDIT*

For you folks that keep coming on here and freaking out over the fact that I refer to this as cosplay - Yeah, I did. And I still do. Get the hell over it. I don't normally wear it, and there are elements on it that I made from scratch so it's a costume. Costumes for me, are cosplays. Just because you guys don't feel the same way, doesn't mean I'm wrong. It's a personal opinion/choice, and no one's asking you to adopt it as a way of life.

So, all the useless comments on how this 'isn't cosplay waaa waaa', I will ignore, because as I've already said a million times, I didn't make it for you guys. I made it for myself, because I enjoyed collecting/making things and smashing them together. I'm sorry, but your rude opinions mean less than nothing to me.

Oh and also, if you'll take note, I wore this over 3 years ago, so old costume is old, and I don't care to defend it anymore. I'd delete it, but I love it, and always will...because for me, IT'S COSPLAY. MY COSPLAY. It may be a way of life for some people, but not me.

Yay, finally got my decora close enough to done so I could wear it at AnimeFEST!

Before I begin my little summary of this costume, I would like to state that I made this FOR FUN. I don't plan on entering it in any contest, I wore it purely to express myself.

Okay, so moving on.

It took me what seemed ages to collect most of this stuff. Everything comes from a vastly different assortment of places all the way from California to Texas. I started collecting things for this right after A-kon 18.

I'm not going to even begin to tell you where I got everything, the hunt is part of the fun after all! But I did get a lot of my light up items in San Antonio ont he River walk. Random, i know.

My wig is composed of a base wig along with 2 clip on pony tails. I bought it like this, but I did add all the crazy crap into it. (Like all the clips and the lanyards and other items.)

My mask, which you can barely see around my neck in the top picture, I made and cut out little katakana characters that say 'ocky Fairy' in japanese.

My wings I made from scratch. They are a wire base, made out of old pocky boxes and other bags and paper materials I had laying around (Cell phone accesorie packaging..lol) They do light up, but the stupid lights malfunctioned somehow so they already need to be replaced.

Anyway, the straps for my wings I hand-knitted out of plastic lacing (That's right. KNITTED) and I also made a small little bag that goes on my wings in the back. I'll post back shots later when I get them.
